Aggie and her husband, Big Red, along with their two boys, joined the Sidewinder ranks in January 2019.
Aggie set a goal at the end of her white belt career to step on the competition mats for the first time. Those first two matches unlocked a passion for Aggie that she never anticipated. As such, to date she has over 140 competition matches and countless tournament appearances on her resume. In these appearances she has earned over 60 medals for Team Sidewinder. Over 30 of those have been gold while more than 60 have been silver or bronze. Most of which coming from exceptional performances at prestigious IBJJF tournaments. She has had the honor of touching up with females on the IBJJF mats from all over the world in locations from the east coast to the west coast. In 2024, following a forced competition hiatus due to neck fusion (not Jiu Jitsu related), Aggie was able to step back on the IBJJF mats. During that competition season she became ranked #1 in her weight class, #1 in the open class, and #1 over all in the world among female athletes. Her competition resume boasts performances in world level tournaments including IBJJF Pans, IBJJF Master International North America, IBJJF American Nationals, And the IBJJF Master World Championship. Aggie ascended to the podium in each of these tournaments and was privileged to take bronze at the Master World Championships in her division’s weight class and bronze in the open weight class. Each opportunity she has to step on the mats in a competitive nature she considers an honor, privilege, and a blessing straight from God.
Coach Aggie serves as the youth Competition Team Director and is directly responsible for assessing and developing competition curriculum for all athletes.
Aggies goal and passion in coaching is to help individuals tap into a potential inside themselves they may not realize they have, just as her Jiu Jitsu experience has for her. Her desire for her Jiu Jitsu career is for each practitioner she contacts to be encouraged, and to have even a small fraction of the positive experience Jiu Jitsu has been for her.
